Each web session shows the name of its target in a dark band at the top of the window.
The same application often runs on several sites.
Two sessions then look the same, and the user can type into the wrong one.
The band tells them apart.
The band is 28 pixels high.
A long alias is shortened with an ellipsis.
The host name keeps only the characters of a host name, so a page cannot write its own text there.
The browser bridge draws the band above the image of the page.
Nothing is added to the page itself and its code is not changed.
The page gets the height that remains, so nothing is hidden under the band.
A click in the band never reaches the page, and the page cannot draw over it.
The band is on by default.
Open the web target and clear Show The Target Name At The Top Of The Session.
The change applies to the sessions opened afterwards.
POST /rdpproxy/targets and PUT /rdpproxy/targets/{id} take web_banner (1 = shown, 0 = hidden).
A request without this field leaves it unchanged.
A new target shows the band.
