You cannot or do not want to join the appliance to the domain? Silent authentication identifies the Windows users through NTLM without any domain join, but it does not verify the password.
Before doing so, please review the prerequisites needed before joining the Windows domain
- You need first install the Active Directory feature
- On the left menu, select Active Directory > Join the domain ( NTLM )
- Set the full hostname of the Active Directory in the Active Directory full hostname field
- Set the username and password of the dedicated administrator account for Artica Proxy
- Click on Save button.
The Web page give to you the resume of your settings and click on re-link Active Directory button
- A progress barr is displayed.
- If you have connection issue, just click on the “Details” link to see the failed results.
