Artica connects to the Internet to retrieve detection signature sets from multiple sources.
By default, the update task runs once per day (every 1,440 minutes).
The dashboard shows a widget that lets you see the total number of active rules currently used to process traffic in real time.
On the right side of the widget, you can see the total number of available rules.
Some rules are not enabled by default; it’s up to you to choose which rules to activate in the real-time engine.
In the center, you can view the update check frequency.
This uses a cycle of X minutes; by default it runs once per day (a 1,440-minute cycle).
The frequency field shows a countdown of the cycle — the number of minutes remaining until the next update.
