Artica notifies you when a newer RDS Proxy version is available. You can also install any available version, newer or older, from the Packages Center.
- On the left menu, choose Your system » Packages Center.
- Click Update index softwares.
- In the search field, type
rds. The RDS Proxy row shows the installed version. - Click Install or upgrade on the RDS Proxy row. A page lists every available version.
- Click Install or upgrade on the version you want. The progress of the installation is displayed.
Open sessions are closed while the gateway restarts: upgrade outside working hours.
Version 12.3.17 adds enhanced window title recognition for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016 and later (see Detection patterns). Install it together with an Artica update that brings RDP Proxy authenticator 1.5.2 or later, so that Disconnect patterns really close the session.
Video recording needs a package built with video support. If the video options are greyed out after an installation, install a package that includes it.
